Why subscribe?

This is my way of sharing thoughts parenthood, marriage, commercial fishing, and sustainability. I’m giving samples of my memoir to subscribers, which I’m publishing here one chapter at a time. I’ll unlock the whole chapter for paid subscribers. From time to time I’ll also publish posts that are free to everyone. And if you want more of my writing, and a taste of where I live, I’ve been contributing to my local newspaper, the Petersburg Pilot.
