Boat Names: Answers to Round 2
Liquid Asset
True. One of the better financial-themed names I think.
Creative
False, one I came up with. If I ever design a new boat, this name would be fitting. And it almost sounds like an insult on the radio when you hail another boat followed by, Creative.
Roed Warrior
True. And an apt nickname for any wild salmon.
Wandrin’ Star
False. Another contender for my future old boat. Inspired by the old “Star Fleet,” which was the steel sailing ships that hauled double-enders lengthwise on their decks to Alaska, where the 32-foot limit came from. Fishermen and cannery workers also rode and crewed the ships from as far south as San Francisco and back every season. There was the Star of Bengal, The Star of Scotland, The Star of Italy, and many more.
And planets were called wandering stars before they were known to be planets, and each boat is a little planet unto its own.
And it’s a great song.
